After our Leadership 500 honor, many people have asked for more information on our leadership development program. For the next two weeks we are going to spend some time going through how IDR operates, and why Leadership Excellence magazine awarded us on their Leadership 500 results.
Before we head into Christmas break we want to wrap up our leadership series. Today we are going to finish up by focusing on the value of our leadership programs, the impact of our programs, and how it has effected our team:
If nothing else, we are hoping to have a positive impact on the lives of the employees of IDR. Helping them to lead happy and healthy life is the primary goal of this program, followed by teaching them how to lead others so that they too may do the same. We are hopeful that the teachings and knowledge gained will directly or indirectly have an impact on our clients. Having individuals who understand the concept of a win/win and how not to only think about themselves can change the way a situation is handled with a client, and will help to lead to a greater trust between our client and ourselves.
The program has had a tremendous impact on each of the leaders of our company, from weight loss to greater team cohesiveness. Our leaders have learned how to live a balanced life, not one focused on money or family or work. Learning how to organize and prioritize has played a significant role in the growth of the company, as well as, effectively communicating the vision and mission of the company. When other employees see the lessons learned by the managers put into practice by the manager, it makes a significant impact on that employee. We believe it is much in the same with our clients as well.
